Carrie Woodby, FNP- BC, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with almost three decades of experience in healthcare and over 16 years practicing in advanced clinical roles. She completed her undergraduate nursing education at East Tennessee State University in 1999 and earned her graduate degree through the University of Delaware in 2009, building a foundation that spans both bedside care and advanced medical decision making.

Her career has included years of frontline primary care in large medical practices as well as independent clinical work, managing complex, real world patient needs across diverse populations- not just curated or cosmetic cases.

In addition to direct primary care, Carrie has served as a preceptor for graduate level nurse practitioner students, a role that requires demonstrated clinical judgement, accountability, and the ability to teach safe decision making in real time.

She has also maintained a strong commitment to caring for patients who are often underserved by traditional systems, shaping an approach that is thorough, thoughtful, and grounded in listening first.

Whether you're sick, stuck, or simply not feeling like yourself, the goal is simple: listen well, explain clearly, and actually help-- without talking at you or rushing you out the door. (And if we laugh a little along the way, that's a bonus).

If you've ever thought, "I just want someone to explain this without making it weird or overwhelming," you're in the right place.

Integrative medicine here means using science, experience, and discernment to guide hormones, peptides, functional medicine, and supplements- not just looking at labs alone, not just looking at symptoms alone,

If you've ever thought, "I just want someone to explain this without making it weird or overwhelming," you're in the right place.

Integrative medicine here means using science, experience, and discernment to guide hormones, peptides, functional medicine, and supplements- not just looking at labs alone, not just looking at symptoms alone, and definitely not just chasing the latest trend on TikTok.

The focus isn't doing everything-  the focus is doing the rIght things, in the right order for the rIght person.

Because feeling better shouldn't be confusing or dramatic.

Aesthetics

Integrative Medicine

Aesthetics

Aesthetic medicine should be regenerative- not rehearsed. That philosophy comes from years spent not just injecting, but studying how facial tissue ages, heals, and responds to intervention- and how small decisions compound over time. With over 16 years of experience specifically in aesthetics, Carrie has worked as an injector and traine

Aesthetic medicine should be regenerative- not rehearsed. That philosophy comes from years spent not just injecting, but studying how facial tissue ages, heals, and responds to intervention- and how small decisions compound over time. With over 16 years of experience specifically in aesthetics, Carrie has worked as an injector and trainer for a national aesthetic chain and currently serves as a master injector and educator for a regenerative biotechnology company focused on tissue-based approaches to facial aging. This work goes beyond product education- it involves deep understanding of facial anatomy, tissue behavior, and how structure, vascularity, and healing influence aesthetic outcomes.

She has completed advanced trainings and master classes well beyond basic certification.

That depth of experience matters- not because of titles, but because it shapes how she thinks.

Here's the truth most marketing won't tell you:

Great aesthetics do not come from memorized patterns.

Faces are not interchangeable- and no single "signature" pre-mapped technique works beautifully on everyone (no matter how catchy the name sounds). Aging is dynamic. Muscle strength varies. Bone structure, asymmetry, skin quality, and movement matter.

Carrie doesn't inject from a script. She evaluates the face in front of her- in motion, at rest, and in context- then designs treatment accordingly.

Aesthetic medicine should support the biology of the face, not override it.

And while the industry is full of self- proclaimed "experts," titles and buzzwords don't replace clinical judgement.

A weekend course can teach you where to inject- experience teaches when, why, and when not to.

(Your face appreciates the difference.)

Carries' approach prioritizes regeneration, balance, and longevity, delivering results that look natural, intentional, and unmistakably you- not like someone else's template.

Aesthetic medicine isn't about copying techniques- it's about understanding why they work, when they don't, and how to adapt.

Time in aesthetics doesn't automatically equal expertise. Depth of understanding does. Repetition creates familiarity. Understanding creates mastery.

Neuro Toxins & Injectables

Neurotoxins soften expression lines by relaxing overactive facial muscles- allowing the face to rest without looking frozen or overtreated.

When performed thoughtfully, treatment preserves natural movement, balance, and expression while preventing deeper lines from forming over time.

Results should look refreshed and effortless- not obvious.

Because every face moves differently, dosing and placement should be individualized not standardized.

Subtlety is a skill.

Dermal fillers are used strategically to restore structure, support facial architecture, and subtly enhance contours- never overfill or change identity.

PDO smooth threads stimulate collagen and improve skin quality over time, supporting firmness and texture.

Every treatment is selected based on how your face moves, ages, and responds.

The goal is restoration, not exaggeration.

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body, helping regulate metabolism, repair, inflammation, and cellular function.

When used appropriately, peptide therapy may support fat loss, muscle recovery, energy, sleep quality, cognitive function and over all resilience.

Treatment is individualized based on goals, labs, and clinical response.

Bio Identical Hormones

Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the hormones naturally produced by the human body.

They are distinct from synthetic hormones, which are chemically altered and do not match human physiology.

When appropriately prescribed and monitored, bioidentical hormone therapy is used to support symptoms of menopause and perimenopause, including hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood changes, cognitive fog, and vaginal and bone health.

A growing body of medical literature is challenging decades of fear surrounding hormone therapy. Much of that fear stems from older studies using synthetic hormones, not bioidentical formulations.

Current evidence suggests that bioidentical hormones may have neuroprotective effects, cardiovascular support, bone density preservation, and potential protective effects in certain cancers, when used appropriately and individualized to the patient. They are also an important tool in reducing the risk of osteoporosis and fracture in aging.

Despite this, many individuals have been told hormones are "dangerous" or that symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, sleep disturbance, low libido, irritability, apathy, hot flashes are something simply to endure. As a result, hormone deficiency is often left unaddressed.

Hormones influence nearly every system in the body- you do not stop needing them just because you age. It is also not a one-size-fits all treatment.

Hormone optimization begins with a comprehensive consultation to review symptoms, medical history, labs and goals. This visit is focused on education, safety, and determining whether bioidentical hormone therapy is appropriate for you.
